Kwami
Who am I?
Hello, my name is Kwami T.J. Glyn-Wright. I was born in Brighton, England, in the year 2000—the Year of the Metal Dragon.
I graduated from university in 2022 with a First-Class Honours degree in Law and Human Rights. My dissertation, which focuses on the laws governing cultural objects in colonial countries, is available to read [here].
I started my professional journey at Corvidae, where I initially held a General Management position, overseeing day-to-day operations across Design, Photography, Marketing, Logistics, and Production teams. Thanks to my experience running my own clothing company (Mori Velle) and my creative background (Art Foundation), I was later invited to become a co-owner of Corvidae. In this role, I specialized not only in management but also took on key responsibilities in design.
As a result, I have extensive experience in both the creative and operational aspects of the fashion industry. I am more than capable of running a multi-million-pound company single-handedly for extended periods, but I also thrive when working as part of a team. I find the most fulfillment in management roles, where I can leverage my strong people skills and expertise in tools like Excel to maintain a clear oversight of the company’s creative direction.
While management is my strength, I am also skilled in the creation of graphics, digital mock-ups, tech packs, and advertisements, which I developed through my years working with Corvidae.
At my core, I am an artist. Creativity is something I deeply value and require in both my work and life.
